Your donation will be used to support the administrative and programming costs for The Maple Center, Inc.

  • A gift of $35.00 can help to provide funds to discount a Tai Chi class for a senior citizen who might not otherwise be able to attend these classes that can benefit patients with arthritis and diabetes.
  • A gift of $50.00 can help to provide (25) free pregnancy tests to expectant mothers. We provide these for free in order to identify pregnant women early in their pregnancies so that folic acid can be started and to provide early prenatal care. Early intervention helps to reduce birth defects and results in better birth outcomes.
  • A gift of $100.00 can help to provide incentive awards of new car seats to women who successfully participate in our tobacco cessation program for expectant mothers.
  • A gift of $250.00 can help to provide scholarships to (25) participants at our community health education seminars. The Maple Center strives to provide access to our educational programs to all in our community, regardless of their ability to pay.
  • A gift of $450.00 can help to provide Hypnobirthing classes to (3) new mothers who cannot afford the fees charged for this service.
  • A gift of $1000.00 can provide a computer and printer for the Dr. John Black Memorial Resource Library that is scheduled to open in 2007. Patient access to Internet research will equip and empower patients to make the best health care choices.

(Donations of $250 or more are recognized as Gold Leaf sponsors in our Annual Report.)
