Dr. Sandra Hendrich

Dr. Sandra Hendrich is a physical therapist with specialized training from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangzhou, P.R. China, where she studied acupuncture, moxibustion, auriculotheray, cupping, pointing therapy, and Chinese manual techniques. Dr. Hendrich’s PT training was at Indiana University School of Medicine and she recently completed a doctorate in Physical Therapy through Des Moines University. She will be offering laser treatment and electrical stimulation to acupuncture sites (rather than needles) as well as physical therapy with a focus on manual (soft tissue and deep tissue) techniques. Her special interests include working with people who have chronic painful musculoskeletal conditions, fibromyalgia and those seeking self-help techniques. Sandra has attended multiple continuing education courses over the years including the McKenzie approach to the treatment of spinal disorders, TENS and acupressure, Myofascial Release, Strain-Counterstrain and many others which she incorporates along with her training from China to provide a unique therapy experience.
